Guided by Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy, White Dove Montessori is a diverse community dedicated to educational excellence for students aged 3 to 6. Our environment fosters individual development and curiosity, inspiring independent learning and critical thinking through a meaningful curriculum. We promote personal responsibility and leadership, teaching children to be thoughtful, confident citizens.

Extended Care

White Dove Montessori is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday throughout the school year including the summer program. This program consists of Montessori curriculum 8:30am-1:30pm (Exercise of Practical Life Sensorial, Math, Language, Geometry, Geography, Botany, Art, Crafts, Cooking, Field Trips, and more.)

The Curriculum

Our program combines the self-paced, developmentally appropriate learning environment of the Montessori method in the comfort of a home setting. We offer an ideal learning environment based on the Montessori principles that will guide and nurture the full development of your child.

The Method

The child learns to concentrate, control muscles, move and act with care, focus, and analyze logical steps and complete a cycle of activity. This is the foundation for mental and physical work in all other areas, not just in early childhood but also throughout life.

Teaching botany early takes advantage of kid’s curiosity and wonder about the natural world as well as help them understand where food comes from.

Creativity

Painting is one of our favorite afternoon activities. Aiding children to fine-tune their hand-eye coordination as well as instilling an appreciation for art in even our youngest students.

Wellness

Understanding healthy food choices is important for children's long-term health. Knowing food groups and their nutrients helps support growth and develop better habits for both physical and mental wellness.

We provide a nutritious mid-morning and afternoon snack daily as well as lunch on specified “cooking” days.
Meditation helps children with security, empathy, and inner stability, and this in turn, builds compassion, joy, and self-esteem.
